Maidstone Camera Club has served photographers in and around Maidstone Kent since 1902. It currently has a membership of about eighty members with a wide range of interests including monochrome and colour printing, audiovisual and projected images. The club is affiliated to the Kent County Photographic Association KCPA, and the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain PAGB. Weekly meetings from September to May offer members informative lectures, practical demonstrations and competitions. Full details can be found on the programme page. The club has long been known for its innovative and forward looking approach to all aspects of photography. The most recent example being our unreserved acceptance of digital imaging alongside the more established darkroom techniques as part of our objective of ensuring that Maidstone remains at the forefront of photography in Kent. We are also very competitive and have achieved many notable sucesses both as individuals and as a club in local and national exhibitions and competition battles.
