We are a Church of England parish with churches in the two villages of Blean and Tyler Hill which lie in ancient Kent woodland between the cathedral city of Canterbury and the seaside town of Whitstable. In common with most churches and other old buildings, little is known with any degree of certainty during the dark ages between the departure of the Romans in 4th Century and the Norman conquest of the 11th Century.
