Bridge Woods Field Archery in Kent Services & Shopping Directory

The Club was formed in 1991, when it used part of Bridge Woods near Blue Bell Hill in Kent hence the club name. Due to construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail link, the Club moved to our soon to be vacated site at Beacon Hill, Chattenden, near Rochester, in Kent. Because the MOD sold Beacon Hill mid 2008, we are now in the process of moving to BerryCourt Wood, a stones throw from Beacon Hill. The Club at Beacon Hill has a double loop course of approximately 40 targets, ranging from 10yds to 80yds. We mostly use faces suitable for shooting the NFAS Game rounds. In 2003 we received a Lottery Awards for All grant, and spent 2004 on improving facilities, so now also have an 8 target training disabled friendly course, laid out around tarmac; a composting toilet we dont have power or water main drainage to the site this is large enough to take a wheelchair; a good range of training bows; and also some 3D targets these only make an appearance on Club Sundays though.
