We are a resurgent and active force in Gravesham promoting the Liberal and Democratic policies and beliefs. Over the last 8 years steady increase in our share of the parliamentary vote from 7 in 1997 to 11 in 2005. As more people have come to realise that what we stand for and our policies are more in line with what the public want the real alternative party. We exist to build and safeguard a Democratic, free and open society, in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of Liberty, equality and community. We aim to champion the freedom, dignity and wellbeing of individuals, respecting a right to freedom of conscience and their right to develop their talents to the full. our aim is to disperse power, to foster diversity and to nurture creativity. We believe that the role of the state within the communtiy is to enable all citizens to attain these ideals.
