We aim to provide a quality service sensitive to the individual needs of those who are sight impaired, helping them to attain the highest level of independence. KAB offers information and advice on all matters concerning sight loss. KAB provides a comprehensive rehabilitation service to people of all ages and abilities. KAB encourages people to increase their independence and safety. KAB demonstrates and provides equipment for everyday activities. KAB records and distributes Talking Newspapers and magazines to help people keep in touch. KAB has affiliated social groups and recruits volunteers to provide companionship. KAB has Sight Centres in Maidstone, Canterbury and Bromley. KAB raises funds to support these activities. KAB provides a specialist service for people with learning disabilities. KAB provides a Guide Communicator Service for Deafblind people.
