KCR was set up in 1989 when it became apparent that there was no organisation that could help route material from the general public back to its respective industries. There was also no intermediate body who could raise awareness and then sustain it by providing facilities, and the where with all, to organisations, schools, groups in the community and households. Provide recycling and environmental products and services to meet the needs of local communities in Kent.
