Eye 2 Eye opticians have been providing professional, affordable eye care for all the family for the past 20 years. Optometrist John Gurney and his partner Claire Forrester have owned Eye 2 Eye Opticians Since December 2005. They have been running Kent Eye Care Ltd, a domiciliary home visiting service together for the past 4 years. John has been a familiar face at Eye 2 Eye Opticians and has been providing Optical care to the local community for the past 7 years. John entered Optics in 1986 qualifying first as an Optical technician in 1988 at the City and East London college After further studying John became a registered Dispensing Optician in 1992 and qualified in Contact lenses 2 years later. In 1995 John attended the City University London for 3 years obtaining a 2:1 degree in Optometry after a further years study and professional qualifying exams he was elected a member of the College of Optometrists in 1999. John is currently undertaking further study and qualifications in Ocular Therapeutics and prescribing at the Institute of Optometry London.
